Artwork title : Beyond the Veil

Inspired by 17th Century Dutch Floral Still Life paintings, this image was part of an exploration of rhythm of light and symbolism. The rays of light are symbolic of the "veil", the transience between life and death. In many ways, a veil of light both connects and prevents us from seeing those we love on the other side.
