Between Sirens is a photographic series capturing moments from Kyiv and Kharkiv during wartime. Between air raid warnings and the struggle for normalcy, these images document a fragile, defiant everyday life. Cracked facades struck by missiles or drones stand beside remnants of Soviet-era architecture—silent witnesses of overlapping histories. In the streets, people navigate a city shaped by trauma and resilience, where the threat is constant, yet so is the will to endure. The contrast between destruction and persistence reflects a broader resistance: against Russian imperial aggression, and for the right to live, rebuild, and remain.
