Artwork title : Il Codice Invisibile
Il Codice Invisibile is a work that merges visual language with textual structure, creating a hidden message encoded within abstract forms. Each colorful block contains a letter, constructed through a rhythm of rectangles, lines, and primary colors — red, yellow, and blue — in accordance with the principles of the De Stijl movement.
What at first appears to be a purely geometric composition inspired by the aesthetics of Mondrian, reveals — upon closer inspection — an invisible code waiting to be deciphered. The artwork raises questions about communication, language, and the limits of visual perception.
The black lines are not painted, but created using precisely tensioned nylon string, forming the graphic framework of the entire piece. Additionally, all the colored and background elements — both rectangles and squares — have varying thicknesses, giving the work a strong three-dimensional character and making the letters appear to float above the surface.
The back of the piece is equipped with a professional French Cleat mounting system, ensuring a secure and elegant display on the wall.
