The cat, a central figure in this artwork, was chosen for its complex nature: an independent being yet capable of creating unbreakable bonds, perfectly balanced between freedom and a deep sense of belonging.The posture in which it is immortalized—originating from a photograph of mine and developed through drawing—becomes a pure emotional vehicle, evoking a sacred intimacy and a suspended tension with the observer. Through this image, I wanted to dwell on the small things in life, on those daily fragments that often risk escaping us, but which conceal a profound importance.This large-scale work is created entirely with colored pencils to bring a deep chiaroscuro to life.
