Interference, 2025

Interference is an author's print created using the authorś technique, which combines the digital aesthetics of disruption with physical intervention in the image. A prominent horizontal red line resembling a visual "glitch" disrupts an otherwise static composition and enters as a faulty signal, interference or transmission error.

The title of the work refers to a disruptive intervention - both visual and symbolic. Interference is understood here not only as a disruption of the image, but as an invasive entry of reality into the image, or vice versa, of visual fiction into reality. The composition creates a tension between technical precision (mechanical raster, heliographic image origin) and the expression of a hand gesture, which acts as a disruption of the integrity of the system.

The work thematizes visual and media overload, digital deformation and the thin line between information and noise. The fragmented forms of the helicopters evoke historical images of power and control, but also act as their spiritual remnant – faded, incomplete, worn.

Interference is not just a print with a flaw. It is a gesture that draws attention to the presence of invisible layers of violence, the reversal of meanings, and the disintegration of visual language in a time of visual excess.
