The painting is based on the particularity of paying attention to the flow of material colour. This colour finds its own way. However, not arbitrarily and randomly according to its shape, but controlled by movements, nevertheless promised to the free flow of the material. Paint thinned with turpentine oil glides over large canvas laid on the floor, wetting and covering the grounds in several layers, alternately freely and gesturally, in order to give the painting an idiosyncratic form from the liquid.

This characterises the creative process, in which the intrinsic nature of the material gets the opportunity to show itself and yet be directed. A mountain can rise out of a sea of possibilities, from which not only a light of thought but also the nature of the material finally emerges. The form, shape and solidity is revealed, which can excite the imagination of the viewer. This development is transferred into space and pictorial space. Technically the canvas is unprimed in order to lend the material of this fabric a presence in the painterly confrontation. This is emphasised by the peculiar property of stronger or weaker absorption, the more or less penetration of colour through the fine pores of the canvas, the sticking and elastic solidification in the drying process. The work is arranged to hang freely in the room in order to give them space-consuming mobility. Space must be considered almost as if it were a living, organic substance, whose special nature must be respected.
